This is the only .45 I currently have:

Even with the compensator built in to the barrel it kicks like a mule.

Most .45's do! I tried to shot my hubby's Glock g21...and didn't like it. The grip is way to big for my hand and just felt out of control using it. I prefer my little Sig Mosquito .22...but today we looked at a Smith & Wesson 9mil which has adjustable grips.

I am not much of a gun enthusiast, but I am a huge supporter of our Second Amendment rights. I have done many research and arguementative papers in college on the subject.

Right now the only two that I own are an old bolt action 20 gauge shotgun and a relatively recent purchase of a .357 Taurus revolver with a 12" barrel. Looks just like the other revolver picture that was posted. The main reason why I bought that one is that it is the minimum legal size for deer hunting in our state. I haven't done any hunting since I was a teenager, but hey you never know, not to mention it has a whole heck-ov-a-lot of power for home defense, even though it is a bit large, and you can use a much smaller powered (and cheaper) .38 round with it as well for target shooting and such. Another thing that is nice about my .357 is that is a seven shot revolver instead of the usual 6 as reloading a revolver can be a bit of a pain.

I have been wanting to get a concealed carry license. If I ever do get around to it I would probably pick up a nice 9mm for easy concealment and high round capacity. Any suggestions?
